Police release details after Khyree Jackson killed in car crash
Police have released information about the crash that killed Khyree Jackson and two others.

The police from Maryland have released the details of the car crash that killed a person and claimed the life of the former Oregon soccer player, along with Vikings rookie Khyree Jackson, as well as other players.
The troopers of The Forestville Barrack responded to a three-vehicle accident in the early evening of July 6, in Upper Marlboro, Md., according to the report..
The accident occurred on Route 4/Pennsylvania Avenue. as well as Presidential Parkway. The three vehicles involved included silver Infiniti Q50, a silver Chevrolet Impala, and a maroon Dodge Charger.
Researchers believe that alcohol may be a factor to the crash, however the report didn’t specify the parties who may have been drinking and driving.
Jackson as well as Isaiah Hazel were pronounced dead at the scene. Anthony Lytton, Jr. was transported into the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center and there the doctor declared him dead by the medical personnel attending.
Hazel is the person who drove the vehicle Hazel was the driver. Jackson was in the front seat, and Lytton at the rear of the car according to the police.
“The preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the silver Infiniti, later identified as Cori Clingman, was traveling northbound on Route 4/Pennsylvania Avenue in Prince George’s County,” the report states.
It goes on to say: “Investigators believe Clingman attempted to change lanes while driving at a high rate of speed when she struck the Dodge Charger and then struck the Chevrolet Impala. The Charger subsequently traveled off of the right side of the roadway and struck multiple tree stumps where the vehicle came to rest.”
There was no injury in the two vehicles.
Jackson was selected in the Minnesota Vikings with the No. number 108 overall selection in fourth round of 2024’s NFL Draft after spending last season in the Oregon football team. He was previously a player for the past two years at Alabama.
Lytton was a player for Penn State and Florida State as a collegian. Hazel was a collegian at Maryland. Three players took home two championships in the state in the state of Maryland at Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School (Md.) and Wise, Jr. High School (Md.).
In his final season with Oregon, Jackson had 34 stops and 5 tackles for loss. He also interception of 3 passes. He also had seven pass breakups and two sacks. Jackson’s total of interceptions led to the Ducks and was the fourth best within the Pac-12.
Jackson was selected to the First-Team All-Pac-12 Player for his performance this season. He was only 24 years old.
