Coco Gauff is set to join LeBron James as the leader of American athletes in the Parade of Nations at the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Tennis star Coco Gauff has been tapped to lead American athletes during the Parade of Nations at the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics , joining NBA superstar LeBron James .
Gauff as well as James were chosen by James and Gauff were selected by teammates U.S. Olympians to serve as flag bearers of Team USA. Gauff is the very first U.S. tennis player to serve as a flag bearer of Team USA.

Gauff has said that she’s a huge fan of James and has never actually seen James. The fact that she finally got to meet him as the flag-bearers of their nation “is a cool circumstance to meet him,” she added.
