DaniLeigh’s bodycam video footage from her DUI hit-and-run case in the month of May 2023 has been released, revealing the R&B singer’s attempts to leverage her fame and status to stay out of jail.

Bodycam footage from DaniLeigh’s DUI hit-and-run arrest in May 2023 has been released, showing the R&B singer’s attempt to use her celebrity status to avoid arrest.

The video, obtained by TMZ The video, obtained by TMZ, shows DaniLeigh looking drunk and pleading for Miami police officers to not arrest her, while she denies that she hit anyone with her vehicle.

DaniLeigh actually strike a 17-year-old victim during the incident, knocking them off a moped and causing serious injuries which included a kidney injury and an injury to the spine.

While being removed in handcuffs DaniLeigh is heard crying and muttering, “I didn’t hit nobody.” A Breathalyzer test later showed that her blood alcohol level was almost double the legal limit.

After her arrest, DaniLeigh was arrested on a variety of charges, including driving while under the of alcohol and leaving the scene of the crash, causing serious bodily injuries, and DUI inflicting property damage.

She will plead no contest in February to an infraction of misdemeanor DUI charge as well as the felony charge of DUI inflicting serious injuries. The other charges are expected to be dropped if she fulfills her court-ordered 5 months of probation.

DaniLeigh’s lawyer, Michael Catalano, claimed at the time that the victim was to blame for the accident.
