Rapper associated with Philadelphia street Gang ‘YBC’ was shot dead in Olney, according to sources.
The victim has been identified by sources is Abdul Vicks, a well-known musician who was part of the gang known as Young Bag Chasers (YBC).
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) (WPVI)The Philadelphia Police investigate a fatal shooting which claimed the life of an acclaimed rapper deceased in Philadelphia’s Olney section.
The shots were heard at 3:34 p.m. Friday, in the block 5500 of N. 6th Street.
Police believe the 25-year-old male was wounded several times in the chest and in the hand. He was transported to a local hospital, in which he was declared dead.
The victim has been identified by sources identified as Abdul Vicks, a well-known rapper who is known as “YBC Dul.” He was part of the gang called Young Bag Chasers (YBC).

There have been no arrests made.
The details surrounding the shooting haven’t been disclosed.
Philadelphia Police are looking into another shooting which claimed the life of one man who was injured by a child in the 600-block of North 12th Street.
The shots went off at 6:30 p.m. the previous Friday.
Police are still looking for two suspects in this case.
