Rachael Ray left fans “concerned” after she posted a video in which she appears to slur her words.

The famous TV chef, 56, posted an episode from her show “Rachael Ray in Tuscany” on the Instagram account on September 2. She wowed her followers with a moment when she invited famous rock star Tony Bennett to dinner, and, in her words “almost killed him.”

Ray recalls the shocking tale as he prepared to show viewers how Bennett made his most-loved food, Ossobuco — braised beef shanks with polenta and bread.

The best-selling cookbook writer admitted that when Bennett visited her home at first she did “a little overboard” and finished her kitchen floor -which resulted in Bennett falling into a hazardous spill.

Ray remembers, “When I pulled out the chair for Tony to sit down for his starter snacks and aperitivo, the chair slid out from under him and he hit his head on my marble counter behind him, and he fell to the floor.”

The television personality who put an end to her program on the daytime at the end of 2023 was astonished. “I thought I killed Tony Bennett,” she said. “I believed I had killed him, literally. His wife Susan who is absolutely gorgeous He tells me “Rachael I’m fine, it’s okay. He’ll be back. Let the guy go.'”

“He made it all through dinner,” according Ray. Ray who also said that he even ate two portions.

Many of the fans rallied to support Ray’s cause while others pondered, “What happened?” Instagram or @home.made.nation

Bennett died on the 21st of July 2023 aged 96, after a battle for seven years with Alzheimer’s disease. Ray was remembered for being “such a gentleman.”

“I miss my friends so much,” she declared. “The most beautiful man, maybe ever.”

Instagram users who follow Instagram were distracted by the way in which the TV chef was talking.

“Is she slurring or is I slurring [? ” One person inquired.

Another fan who was worried wrote “Wait! What’s happening about Rachael Ray?”

“I am in love with you, but are you okay? I’m very worried,” someone else commented on Ray’s blog post.

The sentiment was also shared by a number of others and one person even pondering, “What happened[? ]”

As quickly as people asked questions about Ray’s appearance, speech and dress while others defended her.

“God the people you are rude! !!!!! We appreciate your sharing of thoughts as well as eating today.” One fan commented.

Another commenter said, “My goodness, all you wonderful people are making the most horrible, unkind remarks. MOVE ALONG!”

Some also condemned users for raising concerns over Ray’s health. “It’s not our business, but what is our business is just listening to her story and looking at the positives,” one fan declared.

“She’s ageing just like us. Perhaps she has an illness, or maybe she’s taking medication. Whatever the case, there’s no need to be rude,” someone else added.

One person who was a supporter suggested that Ray’s speech patterns could be affected due to her emotions. “She got emotional talking about her friend is all,” the person stated in reference to Bennett.

In regards to criticisms of the professional’s appearance one person summed up the feelings of a number of Rachael Ray admirers.

“She’s aging well the normal way no plastic surgery or doing it like every one else… get real people… all people judging about how all this celebrity are plastic surgery breast, lip, but [sic] anything and she’s just like us again the natural way so yes this is a shock to you all,” they wrote. “Go Rachael do your thing and thank you for showing us the real you.”

In the course of her long time in the spotlight, Ray has not publicly revealed any health issues. The television star did, however, voice concerns regarding her health in 2008 when there was speculation about her having surgery to treat throat cancer.

“Rachael is the picture of health,” Ray’s representative, Charlie Dougiello, said at the time. “She has undergone a very small surgery to eliminate an uninvolved cyst that is located within the vocal cord. It’s a typical in-and-out procedure that she’ll undergo in early December. It won’t impact any of her shows on the daytime as well as Food Network tapings.”
