KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
It was all the way to the last second.
It didn’t go in the manner Chiefs fans had hoped.
With a last-minute 43-yard field goal that was a mere 43 yards, and the Detroit Lions roared to victory over the Kansas City Chiefs by just one point.
The most memorable part for the sport? watching veterans mix around on the field along with unfamiliar names. Perhaps it was the Mahomes back-to-back throw to Kelce the latter of whom Mahomes later admitted to be “out of spite” because Travis was not in the right the proper position. However, this loss in the last second isn’t pleasant despite being a preseason game.
