The audience got their first glimpse at the transformation of Timothee Chalamet to Bob Dylan for the upcoming biopic The Complete Unknownwhich will be released in theatres in December. Is Chalamet have a voice in the movie? If so, does the actor’s real voice heard in the trailer teaser?

A film from Searchlight Pictures, A Complete Unknown is written and directed by James Mangold (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny) who wrote the screenplay together with Jay Cocks based on the 2015 novel “Dylan Goes Electric!” written by Elijah Wald.

The film takes place on the streets of New York in the early 1960s. It is a follow-up to “19-year-old Minnesota musician Bob Dylan’s meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts — his songs and mystique becoming a worldwide sensation — culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965,” according to the official description.

The cast is awash with stars, including Monica Barbaro as Dylan’s collaborator and former love Joan Baez, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo — a different artist who was a lover of Dylan in the early 1960s and Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash as Johnny Cash, as well as Scoot McNairy playing Woody Guthrie.

Yes, that’s Timothee’s voice heard in A Complete unknown’s teaser. He’ll lend his vocals to the highly anticipated Bob Dylan biopic, which will premiere in cinemas later in the month of December.
