The 2024 Summer Olympics are about to close, but people from Southern California may already be wondering about the best way to get tickets or serve as volunteers during the time that the Games are held in their part of the globe.

The shortest solution is to go to the LA28 organizing committee‘s website: la28.org.

Although it’s early in the process, visitors can sign up to receive updates regarding tickets, hospitality or volunteer opportunities. There’s also an career page however there didn’t appear to be any open positions in the week that we were writing this.

Paris hosted the first ticket sale around 18 months ahead of time. This could mean L.A.’s first ticket sale in February 2027.

In terms of volunteers in the event, volunteers, the 2024 Summer Games reportedly fielded more than 300,000 applicants for 45,000 seats. Participants were chosen from 155 nations.
