A presidential hopeful from the independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running partner, Nicole Shanahan said their campaign is looking at leaving and backing the former President Trump to stay clear of an Kamala Harris-led presidency.
“We are taking a very serious look at making sure that the people that have corrupted our fair and free democracy do not end up in office,” she declared in the latest episode of the “Impact Theory” podcast posted on Tuesday.
The lawyer and entrepreneur acknowledged that there are two ways that the RFK campaign to follow one of which is to stay in the race, and give more credibility for presidential candidates from outside the mainstream or suspend its campaign and support Trump that could provide him with the boost that he requires to take on Harris during the November election.
“Is the risk of a Harris-Walz presidency worth us staying in?” she asked host of her podcast Tom Bilyeu.

The tech businessman talked about the assertions of Kennedy Jr. is a “spoiler candidate,” telling the host that she poured “tens of millions of dollars” into the campaign to get the presidency. “We didn’t want to be a spoiler. We wanted to win. We wanted a fair shot.”
But, she also has accused the DNC of trying to sabotage.
“They have banned us, shadow-banned us, kept us off stages, manipulated polls, used lawfare against us, sued us in every possible state, they’ve even planted insiders into our campaign to disrupt it and to create actual legal issues for us,” she claimed.
An ex- Democratic contributor, she stated she’s “so disappointed” she ever contributed to her fellow members of the Democratic Party.

“There’s two options we’re looking at. One is to remain in the party, and forming this new party, but we’re at risk of having a Kamala Harris or Walz presidency since we get votes from Trump and we’re able to draw greater votes Trump. We could also walk away now and join the forces of Donald Trump and, you are aware, we step away from the issue and explain to our supporters why we’ve taken this choice,” she said.
“Not an easy decision,” Shanahan added.
The Washington Post reported earlier this month that Kennedy Jr. reached out to Harris his group to talk about the possibilities of working in the future Cabinet. But, Harris rejected the claim in a recent livestream town hall discussion.
“That’s fake news,” the president said in the last week, and added “I haven’t asked Kamala Harris for a Cabinet post However, I’ve been in contact with all potential candidates. I’ve had meetings with a few.”
Shanahan has denied the claim in the podcast, too and said that “Those are MSN [mainstream news] spinning something into a way that creates, well their preferred political group appear attractive. False news.”
Harris campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Harris campaign’s spokesperson did not immediately respond on Fox News Digital’s request for comments. When asked for a response the Trump campaign referenced the interview that the former president had in a Tuesday interview with CNN in which he described Kennedy Jr. “a very smart guy.”
